[UPDATE] So I went to a Best Buy store and I learned how to DJ HERO!!! And to be fair it is pretty amazing the feeling you get when playing this game and also the details to the tracks how well they have been remixed etc… The technic is also very tricky yet very real cos some of the things they make you do in expert level is really how you have to do in real DJ conditions!!!

The drawbacks to me is that the turntable part is to heavy to spin. And there is no room for creation in this game which is key to DJ’ing!!! Overall 8 if not 9 out of 10!!! Awesome work!!!

What could they do next? Well bigger turn table, more electric gear like what Daft punk use live!! Not the $2000 touch screens but more the control surfaces!! And lighter elite turn tables maybe even team up with pioneer to make turn tables that look like the pioneer ones!!! GO GO GO…

So I was reading DIM MAK’s blog, as one does right and came accorss this. I saw the picture of the video I was like, “Hey that is pretty cool”!!! But then I clicked play and well that was over. You see Steve has seemes to me to be loosing his touch as to be faire but it sounds to me as a rip off of Laidback Luke’s – Teachers remix of the Daft Punk original track, which that was innovative plus the recent I am in Miami Bitch recent madness.

Anyway it might seem far fetch but here is all four video’s: Steve’s, Daft Punk’s original Teachers and then Luke’s and to finish LMFAO.

Daft Punk managed to pic up two Grammy Awards last week despite the French duo not actually making any new music.

The album, Alive 2007, was released in the US last year – it won best dance/electronic album.

Meanwhile, their single ‘Harder Better Stronger Faster‘ which sold plenty via downloads thanks to its use on Kanye West’s ‘Stronger’, picked up Best dance single - it was originally recorded nine years ago!

Daft Punk weren’t the only French duo picking up gongs. Justice won Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical for their mix of MGMT’s ‘Electric Feel’.

Daft Punk were voted MixMag’s best Dance Act of the last 25 years!!

Who else could it have gone to really??

They made crossover dance music a global proposition and fell into every record box. When the pair emerged in the mid-1990s they put the credibility back into French music with their disco/techno/acid/electro-infused house tracks that eventually grew in LP “Homework”. That album remains one of dance music’s finest.
