If you are not French, you might be asking yourself, why on earth would I post something of this nature?

First of all it is one of Paris pride very much like the “Le Moulin Rouge”. Le Crazy’s documentary is showed every New Year on France top TV channels prime time. It is something that I have been exposed since I can’t even remember.

I went there for the first time this New Year for real and wow it is, modern, design and absolutely Sexy!!! The speciality of the Crazy is to play with light effects on women. They update their show often and contrary to the Moulin Rouge (which I have found to be kitsch if not to say tacky!!) is spot on and extremely innovative the sound track and quality are insane, so are the girls and the overall show is 10/10 to me. EXCEPT for the last part that they called DESIRE, which is absolutely terrible and does not fit the style of the other performances. I guess they tried to be like the Moulin Rouge on that one.

So trendy today, that it got featured at the Printemps store street window, and for this Xmas was partnering with Sefora!!!

Anyway here are a few pics to rinse your eyes!!!

Enjoy…

Techno innovators met Classical musicians when Carl Craig teamed up with Les Siecles orchestre for a concert in Paris.

The event was organised by Frenchman Agoria for C2 to showcase his groundbreaking project.

The skills of pianist Francesco Tristiano and half of the legendary Basic Channel Moritz Von Oswald, were enlisted to supply the respective keys and rhythm sections.

The performance aired classical arrangements of hits from Craig’s back-catalogue, including ‘Darkness’, ‘At Les’ and ‘The Melody’, written with the youthful Tristiano.

Craig follows in the footsteps of Jeff Mills, Paul Oakenfold and Laurent Garnier as electronic artists to perform with a symphony orchestra.

Enough of ELECTRIC MUSIC, let’s talk about the *ELECTRIC CAR* !!

Thanks to a rise in gasoline prices, global warming due to CO2 emissions and the use of vehicles for short distances, everything is calling out to the world for use an electric motor.

Technically speaking, an electric car uses chemical energy stored in rechargeable battery packs and electric motors instead of internal combustion engines. Electric cars produce no exhaust fumes and minimal pollution if charged from most forms of renewable energy. Most importantly electric cars reduce dependence on petroleum and thus decrease greenhouse gas emission. Whatsmore, many are capable of acceleration exceeding that of conventional vehicles, and due to the use of the motor instead of the engine, the cars are very quiet – ironically, somewhat different from SebastiAn’s “Motor” track.

Compared to the enormous fleet of petrol guzzling cars in the world, there are only some 30,000 electric cars circulating in the world at the moment, including 6,000 of them in France.

Parisian Mayor, Bertrant Delanöe, aims to expand the notion behind the Vélib scheme by creating the so-called Automobiles-en-Libre-Service, or “VOITURELIB” which will provide 2,000 electric-powered vehicles that subscribers can drive off without booking at dozens of sites, 24 hours a day and then leave anywhere in the city.
The non-polluted cars will cost a few Euros per hour to use and will also offer an alternative to a congestion charge. It has been calculated that one car will replace between five and ten private vehicles as only 43% of Paris households have vehicles.

There are, like most things, problems with the idea behind electric cars. Some include short duration of battery power, hour-long recharging, unfriendly chemicals within the battery, much more expenditure and fewer places to service them.

Despite these faults, I think it’s safe to say that LA VOITURE ÉLECTRIQUE devient une nécessité and will be a thing of the future. But let’s just hope that by the time I get to buy one, they won’t be so f**king ugly!!
